Getting Started

How fast is setup after I pay?

Provisioning usually completes in under a minute. Your server is created on our panel, files are staged, and the default port is assigned automatically. If you selected a modpack, initial download can add a few minutes.

If payment succeeds but your server doesn’t appear, refresh the panel and check email. Still nothing after 5 minutes? Ping Support.

Which plan should I choose?
  • 4–6 GB: Vanilla / light plugins (5–15 players)
  • 8 GB: Paper + popular plugins or light modpacks
  • 10–12 GB: Heavy modpacks, larger worlds, peak events

You can upgrade RAM later without losing files or world data.

Do you support both Java and Bedrock?

Yes. We have dedicated templates for Java and Bedrock. You can also run Geyser/Floodgate on Java to allow Bedrock players to join a Java server.

Where are your servers located?

Primary region is Germany (EU) with low-latency peering across Europe. More regions are planned; watch the banner on the home page for announcements.

Billing & Account

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal and major cards supported by PayPal in GBP. Currencies are shown in GBP on the site.

Is there a refund policy?

We offer a 48-hour satisfaction guarantee for first-time orders. If we can’t resolve a technical issue for you, we’ll refund the most recent invoice for the affected service.

Doesn’t cover TOS violations, chargebacks, or custom work.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the panel or billing area before the next renewal date to avoid new charges. We keep backups for several days after cancellation unless you ask us to purge immediately.

Do you offer trials or coupons?

Occasionally. Follow our Discord or the banner on the home page for limited promos. Ask Support if you’re evaluating for a community or school.

Performance & Hardware

What hardware do you use?

Intel® Raptor Lake high-clock CPUs, ECC RAM, and Gen4 NVMe storage. This combo is tuned for high TPS with plugins and modpacks.

What TPS should I expect?

Vanilla and optimized Paper servers typically maintain 19–20 TPS. Mods, tick-heavy farms, and large player counts will require more RAM and careful plugin choices.

We’ll help profile your server (Spark, timings) if you open a ticket.

Can I use my own JAR or custom startup flags?

Yes. Upload the JAR via the file manager or SFTP, then select it in the panel. You can also edit JVM flags in the Startup tab. Our Extreme plan advertises custom JAR support out of the box.

Is there DDoS protection?

Always-on network mitigation is included. We filter volumetric attacks and common game-layer floods before they hit your instance.

Backups & Data

How do backups work?

We run daily snapshots and keep multiple restore points. You can also schedule your own backups from the panel (before big updates). Restores are one-click and do not wipe other files unless you choose a full rollback.

How can I upload/download my world?

Use the web file manager or SFTP. Your SFTP credentials are in the panel (same account). Large worlds should be zipped before transfer.

Mods, Plugins & Versions

Do you support Modpacks ( CurseForge / Modrinth )?

Yes. Popular packs can be installed from our templates. For custom packs, upload the server pack ZIP and run the provided installer script. We can assist if the pack expects a desktop launcher.

Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Fabric, Forge — which should I use?
  • Paper/Purpur: Best for performance & plugins
  • Spigot: Legacy plugin compatibility
  • Fabric/Quilt: Lightweight client mods
  • Forge/NeoForge: Heavy modpacks

Ask us if unsure; we’ll match your use-case.

Bedrock level/world import/export?

Upload your .mcworld or level folder via SFTP, then set it as the active world folder in the panel and restart. For exports, download the world directory and convert locally if needed.

Panel & Access

What control panel do you use?

Pterodactyl. You’ll get console access, file manager, SFTP, subuser management, schedules, backups, and startup flags.

Can I add sub-users with limited permissions?

Yes. Invite friends or staff as Subusers and choose granular permissions: console only, file access, backups, schedules, etc.

Do you provide MySQL databases for plugins?

Yes. Create a database from the panel and use the generated credentials in your plugin configs. Remote connections can be enabled on request.

Networking & Domains

Can I use a custom IP/port or domain (SRV record)?

You can point play.yourdomain.com to your server using an SRV record (for non-default ports) or A/AAAA to a proxy. We’ll help with DNS if you share your registrar.

How many player slots?

We do not hard-cap player slots. The practical limit is your plan’s resources and your plugin/mod setup.

Advanced / Less Common

Can I run a proxy network (BungeeCord/Velocity) with multiple backends?

Yes. Order multiple instances (or request an internal allocation) and connect them behind Velocity/BungeeCord. We can assist with firewall rules, IP forwarding, and Floodgate/Geyser setups.

SFTP limits or bandwidth caps?

No artificial SFTP caps. Inbound/outbound traffic is fair-use for game hosting; abusive usage (e.g., file distribution mirrors) isn’t allowed.

How are crashes handled? Auto-restarts?

The panel watchdog restarts your server if it exits unexpectedly. Check the latest.log and crash reports folder. Open a ticket and we’ll analyze with you.

Data retention after cancellation?

Backups and files are kept for a short grace period (typically 7 days) unless you request immediate deletion. After that, data is purged from primary and backup storage.

Can you migrate me from another host?

Yes. We’ll help transfer worlds, configs, and databases. Provide a backup or temporary SFTP/DB access and we’ll handle the rest.
